Anne Arundel County - Sheriff - Part-time Deputies

Synopsis:

Allowing the Sheriff of Anne Arundel County to appoint part-time deputies as provided in the County budget; limiting to 24 hours the number of hours per week that a part-time deputy may work; allowing the Sheriff to establish the salary of a part-time deputy; providing that a part-time deputy is not eligible for benefits provided County employees, included pension benefits, unless approved by the County Council; and generally relating to the appointment of part-time deputies in Anne Arundel County.
