Program
Requiring the Motor Vehicle Administration to review the driving test
given to driver's license applicants to evaluate the test's
effectiveness in measuring driving skills under actual highway
conditions; requiring the MVA to develop a driving test that includes
actual highway driving under specified conditions; requiring the MVA
to implement a Driver Performance Evaluation Pilot Program in Harford,
Baltimore, and Montgomery Counties; requiring the MVA to conduct a
study and report to the General Assembly by January 1, 1999; etc.
