Capitated Payments to Managed Care Plans or Organizations - Condition
of Payment
Requiring that if the State authorizes or requires the enrollment of
Maryland Medical Assistance Program recipients in any managed care
plans or organizations, the managed care plan or organization may
receive capitated payments for providing Program services to Program
recipients only if the managed care plans actually see or treat the
Program recipients for a medical purpose.
