Higher Education - Modification of Scholarship Programs
Abolishing the Senatorial Scholarship Program and replacing it with
the Free State Community Scholarship Program as of January 1, 1997;
requiring each Senator, by April 1 of each year, to meet requirements
for the establishment of a Selection Committee to be responsible for
the award of scholarships in the Senator's legislative district or
request the State Scholarship Administration to award scholarships in
the Senator's legislative district in accordance with specified
criteria; and providing that the Act take effect January 1, 1997.
