Calvert County - Creation of Special Taxing Districts - Duties of Homeowners Associations

Synopsis:

Requiring the petition that a homeowners association presents to the commissioners of Calvert County seeking creation of a special taxing district to include an opinion and certification of counsel that the homeowners association meets the qualifications of a homeowners association under the Real Property Article; and requiring the homeowners association to pay in advance the costs associated with the preparation, mailing, and publication of the notice of the hearing on the petition.
