Synopsis:

Requiring health insurers and nonprofit health service plans to provide coverage for specified patient costs incurred as a result of a treatment being provided in accordance with a clinical trial if specified conditions are satisfied; requiring health insurers and nonprofit health service plans to provide coverage for the cost of Food and Drug Administration-approved drugs and devices under specified circumstances; etc.
