Public Dissemination of Physician Profiles

Synopsis:

Requiring the State Board of Physician Quality Assurance to collect specified profile information about licensed physicians in the State and, on request, to disseminate that information to the public; providing that specified authority of the Board does not authorize the Board to disseminate physician profile information by electronic media; requiring the Board to study the impact of publication of physician profiles by electronic media and to submit a report to specified legislative committees by a specified date; etc.
