Synopsis:

Establishing the Task Force to Study Bank Charter Modernization; providing for the membership, chairman, and staff for the Task Force; requiring the Task Force to conduct a comprehensive study of federal and state bank charter laws and make recommendations on the modernization of State bank charter provisions; and requiring the Task Force to submit its final report to the General Assembly by November 1, 1998.
