Requiring health insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health
maintenance organizations to provide a minimum length of inpatient
hospitalization coverage of 48 hours after a mastectomy or the removal
of a testicle and 24 hours after a lymph node dissection or
lumpectomy, performed for the treatment of breast or testicular
cancer; specifying an exception; requiring specified coverage for home
visits; requiring specified information be provided prior to
performance of specified procedures; etc.
