Milk Products - Health Standards
Implementing recommendations of the Task Force on Maryland's Dairy
Industry; authorizing a Grade A milk processor to establish a sell-by
period of longer than 14 days; requiring a processor establishing a
sell-by period of longer than 14 days to submit to the Secretary of
Health and Mental Hygiene an indicator shelf-life study that is
acceptable to the Secretary which demonstrates that the Grade A milk
product has a shelf life equal to the sell-by period plus an
additional 7 days; and requiring a specified study and report.
