Disclosure of Medical Records - Compulsory Process - Notice to Person
in Interest
Requiring a health care provider to disclose a medical record without
the authorization of a person in interest in accordance with
compulsory process if the subpoena, summons, warrant, or court order
has been issued on lawful authority; making specified exceptions;
requiring a health care provider to disclose a medical record,
without the authorization of a person in interest to grand juries,
prosecution agencies, law enforcement agencies and the Maryland
Insurance Administration under specified circumstances; etc.
