Optometrists and Physicians - Contact Lens Prescriptions

Synopsis:

Requiring a licensed optometrist and a licensed physician to ensure that each prescription for contact eye lenses meets specified requirements; authorizing a patient to request a copy of a contact lens prescription from specified licensees; requiring specified information to be on the prescription; providing that specified licensees are exempt from liability for specified injuries to or conditions of their patients; etc.
