Education - Prince George's County - School Uniforms PG 400-98

Synopsis:

Requiring the Prince George's County Board of Education to implement the use of school uniforms in the public schools by the school year 1999-2000 for elementary school students, 2000-2001 for middle school students, and 2001-2002 for high school students; allowing schools not to participate if 60% of parents oppose the mandatory use of school uniforms; and prohibiting the County Board from funding the purchase of the uniforms.
