Entitled:

Health Insurance Carriers - Assignment, Transfer, or Subcontracting of Health Care Providers' Contracts

Synopsis:

Prohibiting health insurance carriers from assigning, transferring, or subcontracting a health care provider's contract with the carrier to an insurer that offers personal injury protection coverage under a motor vehicle liability insurance policy without first obtaining the provider's consent; and prohibiting a carrier from terminating, limiting, or impairing the provider's contract or employment under specified circumstances.
