Mining Operations - Extraction of Coal Incidental to Other Minerals

Synopsis:

Excluding from the definitions of "open-pit mining", "strip mining", and "surface coal mining", for purposes of provisions regulating specified mining activities, the incidental extraction of coal at a level that does not exceed 16 2/3% of the cumulative mineral production from a mining site.
