Maryland Higher Education Investment Program - Income Tax Subtraction
Modification for Contributions
Providing that the $2,500 limitation on the subtraction modification
for payments made under a higher education investment contract is
applicable to each higher education investment contract; allowing
amounts disallowed under the subtraction modification as a result of
the $2,500 limitation to be carried over and subtracted for succeeding
taxable years; applying the Act to tax years beginning after December
31, 1997; etc.
