Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 756.

This bill authorizes Talbot County and its municipal corporations to grant a property tax credit to Chesapeake Wildlife Heritage, Inc. for personal property used for the organization's purposes but not used for revenue or income producing purposes.

House Bill 1025, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on April 27, 1999, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 756.
