Altering the definition of "code" to exclude a specified code used by
a carrier; altering the definition of "coding guidelines" to mean
specified guidelines issued with specified codes; providing that
specified time limits for retroactive denial of reimbursement to
health care providers by carriers do not apply in the case of improper
coding under specified circumstances; and providing that information
may be considered improperly coded if the information uses codes that
do not conform with specified coding guidelines.
