Potomac River Protection Act
Requiring the Secretary of the Environment to submit specified reports
to the General Assembly by July 1, 2002; prohibiting the Secretary
from issuing permits for the construction of a water intake pipe into
the Potomac River before a specified time except when specified
conditions are met; providing specified exceptions to the prohibition;
providing that the Act does not preempt or prohibit any ordinance,
resolution, law, or rule more stringent than the Act; etc.
