Entitled:

Partial-Year Property Taxation - Newly Annexed Properties Within Municipal Corporations

Synopsis:

Authorizing municipal corporations to collect half-year, three quarter-year, and one quarter-year property taxes on properties newly annexed into a municipal corporation; providing that such action would not affect any county tax setoff; and providing that county billing and collection expenses associated with the collection of municipal property taxes under the Act would be payable by the affected municipal corporation.
