Machine Voting System
Exempting a voting system in Dorchester County from a provision of law
prohibiting the certification of voting systems that use mechanical
lever machines on or after January 1, 2002; exempting Dorchester
County from a provision of law prohibiting a county from using
mechanical lever voting machines to conduct elections on or after
January 1, 2002, unless a uniform statewide voting system is developed
and implemented; etc.
