Telecommunication and Computer Network Access - Underserved Areas

Synopsis:

Altering provisions relating to a State telecommunication and computer network under the Department of Budget and Management; providing for the construction of network facilities in areas where existing commercial access is lacking; providing for points of presence in specified areas; declaring the intent of the General Assembly; requiring the Governor to provide specified funding for networking; and requesting the Governor to include specified funding in the State budget in specified fiscal years.
