Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 331 - Cecil County - County Treasurer - Salary.

This bill increases the annual salary of the Treasurer of Cecil County from $48,000 to $60,000 beginning with the next term of office.

Senate Bill 111, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 331.
