Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 447 - Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages - Caterers.

This bill authorizes a licensed caterer in Harford County to provide alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, at an event sponsored by the caterer that is held on the caterer's premises each calendar year.

House Bill 218, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 447.
