Income Tax Credit - Elder Care

Synopsis:

Allowing an individual whose income does not exceed specified amounts to claim a $1,000 credit against the State income tax if the individual cares for an elderly dependent under specified circumstances; allowing an employer a credit against the State income tax for 25% of the costs of providing elder care for employees during work hours; and applying the Act to tax years after 2001.
