Prince George's County - Education - Taxing Authority PG 428-02

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Prince George's County Council, in order to provide additional funding for the Prince George's County Board of Education, to set the county real property tax rate at a rate that exceeds the real property tax rate limitation provided in the Prince George's County Charter, subject to approval by the voters of Prince George's County at a referendum; requiring the county to appropriate all the resulting additional property tax revenue to the Board of Education; etc.
