Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 810 - Task Force to Study the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation.

This bill establishes an 18-member Task Force to Study the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation, describes its composition and duties and requires the task force to meet at least once a month.

Senate Bill 544, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 810.
