Accessible Rooms and Platform Lifts
Requiring lodging establishments to offer an accessible room on the
6th floor or below to a person with a mobility impairment; requiring
lodging establishments to install a platform lift or stairway device
on every other floor and to train personnel to operate the platform
lift or stairway device and provide assistance to the person; and
requiring front desk staff to note the use of an accessible room by a
person with a mobility impairment in order to advise emergency
personnel in the event of evacuation.
