Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 45 - Prince George's County - Palmer Park Boys and Girls Club Loan of 2001.

This bill amends Chapter 680 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2001 to extend the time by which the Board of Directors of the Palmer Park Boys and Girls Club, Inc. shall provide a matching fund from June 1, 2003 to June 1, 2004.

House Bill 109, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 45.
