Vehicle Laws - For-Rent Vehicles - Rental Fee

Synopsis:

Requiring a person who rents a motor vehicle to another person to pay a specified fee and to file a return with the Comptroller at specified times; requiring that the fee be separately stated on the rental agreement; requiring the Comptroller to forward the fees collected under the Act to the counties and municipalities in accordance with specified requirements; requiring the Comptroller to administer and collect the fee and to enforce the provisions of the Act; etc.
