Public Safety - Law Enforcement Equipment Fund - Adjustment for Consumer Price Index

Synopsis:

Requiring the Governor to include in the fiscal 2006 budget for the Law Enforcement Equipment Fund an amount equal to the fiscal year 2004 appropriation plus an amount equal to the fiscal year 2004 appropriation divided by the number of local law enforcement officers in the State and multiplied by the Consumer Price Index compounded over fiscal year 1999 to fiscal year 2004.
