Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 224 - Harford County Liquor Control Board - Appeal of Decisions - Remand of Proceedings.

This bill grants the Circuit Court for Harford County the authority to remand to the Harford County Liquor Control Board proceedings before the court that relate to the appeals of decisions of the board.

House Bill 337, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me on April 27, 2004, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 224.
