Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed House Bill 110 - Civil Actions - Limitation of Actions - Land Surveyors.

This bill alters the time period after which a person may not seek damages incurred as a result of an error in a land survey and provides for the application of the Act. Senate Bill 14, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 110.
