Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed House Bill 287 - Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004 - Baltimore City - Baltimore Zoo Trams.

This bill amends the Legislative Community Initiatives Loan of 2004, as amended, to specify the amount of the matching fund required for the Baltimore Zoo Trams project; etc. Senate Bill 120, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House Bill 287.
