Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, today I have vetoed Senate Bill 522 - Maryland Consolidated Capital Bond Loan of 2002 - Dorchester County - Dorchester General Hospital Loan of 2002. This bill amends Chapter 290 of the Acts of 2002 to make a technical correction to the Dorchester General Hospital project by redesignating the name of the grantee of the bond proceeds under the project as the Shore Health System, Inc. House Bill 153, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me, accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 522.
