Condemnation - Speedy Trial - Relocation of Businesses
Requiring that, on written request of any party, an action for
condemnation shall be set for trial within 90 days after the case is
at issue and shall take precedence over all other civil cases; and
requiring that a representative of a displacing agency contact a
business owner affected by a public project for which property is
being acquired by condemnation and negotiate in good faith to provide
an effective plan to relocate the business.
