Requiring the registration of specified entities as urgent care
centers that sell membership programs in the State; providing that an
urgent care center membership program registered and operated in
accordance with the Insurance Article is not insurance; authorizing
the Maryland Insurance Commissioner to deny, refuse to renew, suspend,
or revoke a registration under specified circumstances; prohibiting
urgent care centers that sell membership programs from using specified
words in advertisements; etc.
