Workers' Compensation - Claims Adjusters and Medical Billing Entities

Synopsis:

Requiring an insurer to ensure that specified individuals employed as claims adjusters to review or adjust workers' compensation claims for the insurer be trained and meet postcertification requirements in a specified manner; prohibiting an insurer from employing specified claims adjusters who have not meet specified training and postcertification requirements except under specified circumstances; etc.
