Synopsis:

Providing that a State's Attorney is not required to serve a specified notice of an alleged prior conviction for specified alcohol- or drug related driving offenses for the purpose of allowing a court to sentence a defendant as a subsequent offender; and allowing a court to impose specified penalties without specified notice to a defendant.
