Environment - Permit Process - Modifications

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of the Environment to provide an opportunity for a contested case hearing under specified circumstances; altering specified public hearing and notice requirements; establishing an Environmental Leadership Group; requiring an applicant for a specified permit to prepare and submit an environmental impact statement to the Department; requiring the environmental impact statement to be prepared, submitted, and approved in accordance with specified regulations.
