Take-Out Program
Establishing a take-out program of insurance coverage for specified
persons insured under the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund;
providing that specified provisions of law relating to the authority
of the Fund to sell, issue, and deliver a specified policy of
insurance, and relating to entitlement to continuation of coverage
from the Fund, are subject to specified provisions of the Act;
requiring the Maryland Insurance Commissioner, instead of the Fund, to
certify the eligibility of a person for insurance from the Fund; etc.
