State Personnel - Natural Resources Law Enforcement Officers - Appointment to Major or Lieutenant Colonel

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Secretary of Natural Resources to appoint a specified law enforcement officer to the rank of Major or Lieutenant Colonel without examination; establishing that a specified law enforcement officer continues to serve at the pleasure of the Secretary; providing that on termination of a specified appointment, the Secretary may return a law enforcement officer to a specified vacant position or promote the law enforcement officer to a specified higher rank; etc.
