Citizens Rights Act
Authorizing law enforcement officers in the State who are authorized
to do so by the federal government to verify the immigration status of
specified persons; requiring police officers who encounter and detain
in the normal course of their duties an individual who the police
officer determines is an undocumented alien to inform a specified
federal agency as soon as possible; prohibiting law enforcement
officers from considering race, color, or national origin in
implementing a specified provision of the Act, with an exception; etc.
