Local Government Employee Political Activity Protection Act
Prohibiting a local governmental entity from taking, or threatening to
take, specified disciplinary actions against an employee for
expressing any political opinion, participating in any political
activity, or refraining from providing any political service;
authorizing an employee to bring and maintain a civil action against a
local entity for damages, injunctive relief, or other civil relief for
specified acts of unlawful discipline or threatened discipline in
violation of the Act; etc.
