Income Tax - Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicles - Credit for Idle Reduction Devices
Allowing an individual or corporation a credit against the State
income tax equal to the lesser of 50% or $3,500 of the costs incurred
for each purchase and installation of a qualifying idling reduction
device in a heavy-duty diesel-powered on-highway vehicle; providing
for the carryover of unused credit if the credit exceeds the State
income tax otherwise payable for a taxable year; providing that a
credit may not be claimed for the purchase and installation of a
device after December 31, 2013; etc.
