Department of Health and Mental Hygiene - Emergency Standards for Moderate Sedation

Synopsis:

Requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to adopt regulations for health care practice sites where moderate sedation is conducted; requiring the regulations to address appropriate emergency supplies and equipment and appropriate standards and procedures to be followed in the event of an emergency; and establishing a penalty for a violation of regulations.
