Health Care Providers - Investigations - Information Sharing Among State
Agencies
Adding to the list of entities to which the Health Services Cost
Review Commission may disclose physician information; altering the
list of entities that may be medical review committees charged by law
to evaluate matters relating to health care providers; requiring the
Board of Physicians to disclose information contained in a record to
the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene and specified agencies for
a specified purpose; specifying that provisions of the Act do not
alter the authority of the Secretary; etc.
