Synopsis:

Providing a process for establishing districts for electing members of the Maryland General Assembly; establishing criteria for creating legislative districts; directing the staff agency of the General Assembly to prepare legislative districting plans; directing that public hearings be held; directing the General Assembly to vote on up to three plans by specified dates; creating a temporary redistricting advisory commission; submitting the amendment to the qualified voters of the State for their adoption or rejection; etc.
