Emergency Medical Services - Automated External Defibrillators - Immunity from Liability and Facility Registration Requirement

Synopsis:

Providing immunity from civil liability to an individual who uses an automated external defibrillator (AED) to provide assistance or medical aid to a victim at the scene of an emergency under specified circumstances; and altering a specified education requirement for a facility that desires to make an AED available to qualify for a valid certificate from the State Emergency Medical Services Board.
