Altering the defined term "police officer", as it applies to the
enforcement of motor vehicle equipment requirements, the issuance of
safety equipment repair orders, the implementation of the Diesel
Vehicle Emissions Control Program, the enforcement of vehicle size and
weight limits, and motor carrier safety inspections, to include a
police officer who prominently displays the police officer's badge or
other insignia of office.
